Student Illustrator and Hobbyist Soprano's Debut

Hey there! I'm Lapis*, otherwise known as Intoxicating Starlight on Tumblr as well as various other forums, far-off-light on dA, and flutteringwings123 on Youtube.

I'm a high school student pursuing an Illustration major, and I guess I draw things. And also sing. I'm generally a soprano, but I can force my voice into lower ranges with a relatively small amount of effort. I don't have any accurate and recent samples of my voice, but whatever.
Some of my hobbies include the aforementioned drawing and singing as well as playing video games, listening to music(particularly rock and electronic), reading, and spending long hours researching whatever catches my interest.

I'm a giant fan of Homestuck, and as a result I will probably end up re-covering some of Youtuber Hanyuudesu(aka horizon)'s lyricized Homestuck songs. I am particularly fond of DECO*27, avtechno!, Hachi, kemu, SweetRevenge, Machigareta, and Manbo-P, so I am most likely to join choruses covering songs by said composers. I'm perfectly fine with branching out into songs that aren't related to the Vocaloid franchise such as anime themes, K-Pop, and some American songs as well.

My main contributions will probably through art, as I don't have as much time as I'd like to do covers. I'm willing to provide artwork for nothing but credit and a link to my dA, though donations(either dA points or actual money) would be wonderful. Contact me for specifics and the like; it's easiest to get a hold of me through deviantArt so just shoot off a message there if you desire my artistic services. Sometimes I'll also randomly art bomb a project that I like.

And that's basically it. Drop by and say hi. Just don't use romanized japanese in general conversation, as that seriously annoys me.

Welcome though! What video games do you like?

S'okay, I tend to not garner too many replies in Introduction threads.

Some of my favorites include the oft-mentioned Pokemon series, the Nintendo releases of Kingdom Hearts games, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Rhythm Thief, and the Phoenix Wright games and related spin-offs.

I loooove Kingdom Heart's! And Pokémon too! ^.^ I haven't heard of the other games though ^.^""

Shin Megami Tensei is part of the infamous Shin Megami Tensei franchise that includes the Persona games among others. Phoenix Wright is a courthouse simulation(not very accurate but it's storyline is amazing), and Rhythm thief is a rhythm game that was released stateside just a month or two ago.

Ooh! Okay! (￣^￣)ゞ Ever heard of Okami!? It's one of my favourite games ever!!! The graphics are truly beautiful, and the gameplays very well done too!

I've heard of it and the art looks really pretty, but I'm not that into that particular genre. :T
