The Divine Curse p.1 (Open / Started)

Aaron lost hold of the world and everything faded away. His body changed to human form again.

Elza doubled over, suddenly feeling extremely sick. She screwed her eyes shut to keep the world from swaying too much, and to keep from throwing up her guts. Magic was the worst.

Armistice almost smiled. The girl was clearly injured far worse than he had thought, and she was showing it now with a complete lack of grasp of the situation. Despite his wounds, he did his best to make a pleasant conversation. After all, a mage with enough power to sense his magic in this state could be exactly what he was looking for. "Hello there." He said, barely containing the pain in his voice. "My name is Armistice. I never actually got a chance to learn your name. These brutes do their very best to subjugate any voice that speaks against them, after all."

Hello! Hellohellohello! Good people say hello lots.

"Names Arms? Arm? Arm? Arms? Names? Magic?" She voice her opinion with a smile. Smiles are for good people, and magic-magics are for lots of peoples.

Elza spoke up, seeing a chance to do something. "Little mage, he has mean magic! Don't listen to him!" She was still curled around her stomach, which felt like it was trying to sink a ship the size of Rasota.

Will grinned, seeing that the werewolf was dead. Werewolves always returned to their human formes when killed. He turned and disappeared into the forest to look for other prey. He would fight and hunt down the rogue fairy soon, but not yet.

Koe groaned, but managed to get to all fours, almost falling over before moving a couple paces. She started to slowly crawl over to Aaron, not giving a baise about Armistice and what he would do. He just want to get to him. She reached his hand and collapsed, grabbing it tightly and shutting her eyes. Her stomach forcing through her waves of ebbing pain.

Armistice frowned at the interruptions to his conversation. "Little mage, I could really use your help, but before I explain the situation to you any further, I'm going to need your attention." And with that, he began building up what little magic he could muster. It barely was enough to cast any sort of spell, but the point was getting the girl to exit her stupor and look at him for a few moments.

Elza's fingers dug into the dirt at her side, and she squinted through her sickness at the mage. "Please, don't listen to him . . . he wants to hurt my friends, like the poor doggie. He might hurt you, too."

"Little Mage, Little Mage," Koe sang, her voice cracked and heartbroken. "Don't you know what this bad man wants to do with you? Little Mage little Mage, come along and listen to this song. Little Mage little Mage, he is not the one you want. Little Mage, little Mage, that demon has taken my heart away,"

Rosario opened her eyes slightly and looked around. So much talks and sings and dogs and people. Magicly-magics too.

"Little mage~ Little mage~ Doggie Doggie Dog~" Rosario sang as she poked as she reached out and poked the magic person.

"Magic!" She cheered gleefully as she held her hands forward palms up and made flames dance.

"Magic!" She insisted.

Elza tried to smile, but it probably looked more like a grimace. she forced her self into a sitting position, almost passing out in the process, but managing. "That's right, little mage! But the doggie needs help and the mean man won't let you help the dogie. The mean man doesn't like the cute doggie."

"Little Mage, little Mage," Koe continued, praying to Tidari that she could do some good before she jumped off a cliff. "Come over here to play. Little Mage little Mage, Koe wants to see your magic okay? Little Mage little Mage let us be free, little Mage little Mage be who you want to be. Little Mage little Mage your magic is grand, little Mage little Mage would you like to make your moe flames dance? Little Mage little Mage, how about your flames dance for me? Little Mage little Mage, can you..." She burst out in tears before continuing, "fix my Aaron this day?"

Name- Kioshi
Age- (looks 13 in human years)
Species- cat person thing
Divine "Parent"- Ghethora, for her loyalty and ferocity.
Personal Weapons- Her gift is a large yo-yo made out of steel which has small, pointy spikes on it. She also uses her teeth and claws to fight non-demons. She also carries a flail that she doesn’t use against demons.
Personality- Apologizes a lot. Prefers to be alone. When/if she becomes friends with someone, she’ll be very attached and loyal to them and will do anything to protect them. Enjoys sleeping. Prefers to hide (usually in a tree) rather than fight. Likes to eat fish and rats, and hunts them herself with her claws and teeth. Is a lesbian.
Weaknesses- Having to work with other people. Also, she really doesn’t like deep water and cannot swim. (so she hunts for fish in shallow water) She also isn’t the best at fighting because she usually runs away.
Skills- Can climb things. Can transform into an actual cat. Fast runner. Good hunter.
History- Her parents got rid of her when she was about 5 years old. Since then, she learned how to survive on her own. She used to have a friend that lasted for a few years until they betrayed her. (so that’s why she doesn’t trust anyone at all at first)

"Everyone else SHUT UP!" Armistice squealed, his voice high pitch and clearly distressed. "No one can think with all this noise! It's crazy!" He started waving his hammer around threateningly as he spoke. "I will use this, and you'll all end up like the stupid mutt! Now," He turned back to the small blond mage who was showing off her skill. The fire bothered him greatly, but sacrifices must be made for the greater good. "Magic." He said, holding his hands out, gathering a fine purple mist in his palms.

She looked around and took a step in the direction of the other speakers as they spoke. Holding her flames a bit closer to herself.

"Doggie!" She mumbled distractedly. "Doggie dog dog Ronaron."

Then the man spoke and pulled her attention back to him. She made a face and put her own fire out before slapping his hands away. Then she put her hands up before her much the same, with a slightly larger flame.

"Magic." She insisted, pushing her hands closer to him so he could see.

Armistice flinched and stumbled backwards a bit, startled by her insistence on attempting to light him ablaze. He had no idea how he was going to accommodate her... Wait, he had a crazy idea. This was going to hurt, oh yes, but it was for the good of all creatures of this world. He unwrapped some of cloth from around his arm stump and covered his hand with it. He then quickly ran his hand over the fire the girl was holding. Despite great amounts of pain, he managed to force a smile. "Magic." He grunted.

She grabbed his hand with hers still ablaze and shook it up and down with glee.

"Magic! Magi-magic!" Then she released her hand and spun to Koe.

"Magic?" She called happily.

Koe gave her a big fake smile. (Somehow) Attempting to sit up, "I love your magic little Mage," She answered, reaching out to touch the flames. "The fire is very very pretty. Your magic is very nice little Mage," She continued. Her eyes drifted towards Aaron, and her fake smile almost disappeared. But he looked at the fire and smiled once more. "Your magic makes me feel better, will you stay with me little Mage?"

Kioshi watched from the tree, on the highest branch. She was taking a nap, until the noise from below woke her up. She grumbled, transformed into a cat, then jumped down from each branch until she reached the ground. Since she couldn't sleep, she decided to watch until they were quiet.

Rosa saw Koe's smile and returned it with her own. Then lots of words again. The woman reached out to her fire and Rosa obliged by putting her hands in the fire so she could feel it.

"Little mage! Magic! Little mage? Stay? Stay." She nodded profusely, though it seemed more like she just enjoyed bobbing her head back and forth more than anything else, "Better?"

Koe kept her smile, ignoring the pain for the momment as she moved her hands aroundin the fire. It... The pain did make her feel better in a way. It snapped her of her stupor and made her thoughts sharper, and it distracted her from the gaping empty pain in her chest. "Yes, better little Mage. Better," She pulled he free hand out, smoking slightly and very very bright red. "Thank you little Mage, so would you like to stay?"

'It was a very ba idea to throw a rock at her head,' Faron thought. Scowling at his immobility.

This was far too much for Armistice to deal with. Clearly, the mage was not coming with him, and now that the was clearly out of the question, he realized there was a much more pressing issue: His hand was one fire. His only remain hand. "AIEEEEEEEEEEEE!" He shrieked, running around in circles until he broke off, heading for the nearest body of water. "YOU MURDERS! CURSED ONES! YOU WILL BE PURGED LIKE ALL OF THE REST!" He shouted as he ran.

Elza watched in relief as the psycho ran off. Seemed like he didn't like fire very much. As he got farther and farther away, her sickness was dispelled. She was able to move soon, and first went over to Faron. "Are you okay? Where are you hurt?" She ignored her own injuries, of course.

Faron looked over at her. "I'm... Not physically hurt per say, but I can't move. A lot. I... Went out of my abilities. It's going to take me awhile to be able to walk," He was laid down on the ground, kinda really staring at the sky. "What about Xavier and Aaron? They're hurt worse than I... If they're still alive,"

Koe watched as the man left, triumph gleaming in her eyes before she collapsed again. Sliding closer to Aaron and sobbing uncontrollably. "Aaron I'm sorry," She whispered. "Aaron... I'm so... sorry..." Her cries became louder.

Elza bit her lip, afraid to turn around. "That's the thing. I should help, but . . . I'm afraid at what I'll find. It's been so long since I've known anyone, and for someone to . . . to . . ." She stopped, her throat closing. She was on the verge of tears, and desperately trying to fight them back.

Sleepy. Rosario was sleepy. She extinguished her flames sprawled out on the ground, burying her head in the grass as people shifted and moved around her. Her head was hot and heavy and the grass was cold. She felt funny overall like stuffs was missing.

She rolled to her other side, happy with the coolness, but running into a person thing. She kept her eyes closed and simply rolled back a ways. Mumbling to herself about, "Magic... grass and cool."

Then her awareness, however limited it was, left her again.
