The Divine Curse p.1 (Open / Started)

The Dark Days are upon us, ravaging the earth and destroying souls. In times like this, heroes rise, lives are changed, Gods called upon. Those of pure heart and soul have been chosen to bring salvation to the world, vanquishing the Darkness plaguing it. The blessings of the Gods are the only things that can destroy demons – blessed weapons gifted to those destined to save their world. But the Gods have gone dormant, silent, not offering guidance to those they cursed with the responsibility of a world. It is up to us, the puppets of the Gods, to blindly rush into battle and risk our lives to save a dying world. We alone can purify it, purge it of evil, and restore it to its previous balance.


In this RP, there are a couple different types of Godly blessings. Weapons, guidance, and supplies. Every God or Goddess chooses their heroes/heroines, and bestows upon them a blessing in the form of a weapon. The weapons themselves can be handheld (no guns or explosives), or literally grow from a part of the hero/heroine’s body. Only those chosen can wield their weapon, yet they can only injure demons. Many heroes/heroines decide to carry extra, normal weapons because of this.
In this world, Rasota, any creature conjured in the mind can exist. In fact, humans are rare. The Gods and Goddesses have a shapeless true form, but can choose any body they wish to inhabit. There are only a few divine beings the inhabitants of Rasota worship, as several are evil and seen as bringers of death. It is believed that they are the ones who set the demons upon the world.

HOLY BEINGS

“Good”
Silvrata, the first born of the litter, takes the form of a winged tiger. She stands for peace, love, and neutral strength.
Ghethora, rarely seen out of her giant boar form, is the second born of the divine litter. Her values are stubbornness, anger, and the ferocity to protect those she loves.
Ronos, usually seen as a golden monkey, is the third born. He is known for his intelligence, patience, and agility.
Plethantahs is the fourth born, and usually takes the form of a red-crested crane. He stands for swiftness, ruthlessness, and keen instinct.
Tidari, the fifth son of time and space, is most often in the form of a large, sleek wolf. He values brutality, tightly knit family, and justice above all else.

“Bad”
Sythcolath, the sixth son, takes the form of a raven, his shape wispy and fleeting, like shadow. He is thought to embody death, terror, and tranquility.
Rancara, the final daughter, takes the form of a robin. She stands for trickery, seduction, and wisdom.

Divine Parent: Silvrata, chosen for her serenity and level head in battle.
Personal Weapons: A normal katana when facing anything non-demonic, and an arm (right) blessed by Silvrata. The arm can summon a “Godly sword” capable of severely injuring and killing demons, as well as touching/not touching anything demonic at will. If she wants to, she can submerge her arm shoulder-deep into a demon, or simply punch it. Or something. The possibilities end at the peak of her imagination. As a forest elf, she has the ability to heal herself, though demon venom completely negates this power, if it enters her bloodstream.
Personality: Elza can appear calm, cool, and collected, especially when fighting. Sometimes, her steady gaze and unfaltering blows scare opponents enough to back off or surrender. However, she’s simply good at masking what she truly feels. Elza is, in fact, just like a little girl – deep in her heart, she’s afraid of the world, and wants someone to step forward and protect her, instead of the other way around.
Weakness: Elza will throw herself at any demon (with varying amounts of thinking beforehand), especially when protecting others. If she attaches herself to someone, she will do anything for them. This leaves her a prime target for deception and betrayal.
Skills: Tracking, fighting, cooking, and sneaking around. She’s sort of a ninja sometimes.
History: Early on in her life, before Elza learned to use her blessed weapon, her entire village was destroyed by demons hunting her. Silvrata interfered (the one time in her life, to this day) and whisked her off to a secluded place deep in the woods, where a pair of angels trained her. Once she could fend for herself, the angels ascended, leaving her to fight for her life. She rarely ventures out of the forest, but being with the angels taught her to speak and the correct way to act around sentient life forms, so she isn’t a complete hooligan.

Divine "Parent"- Tidari, chosen for her brutality in battle, and her sense of Justice.
Personal Weapons- When facing normal opponents a snake sword that whips out to about 7 ft. when used properly. She considers herself a master at this weapon. Her Divine Gift (weapon) Is both arms are blessed to bring out dual swords. (Which is really one gift because they are the same blade, just split into two) the sword have the ability to teach the user, or take over them, as they fight. So that the user can become strong, or wiser. For it is users choice.
Personality- Koe is rather... Out-going. And isn't afraid of walking up to people, shes also rather annoying at times though... But her loyalness makes up for it. Sometimes she becomes very serious and quiet though, and if she's angry with you... Well.. Just try not to get her angry with you. She has quite the temper sometimes. ^.^ Due to her past, a fire of brutality seems to overtake her as she battles demon's, and when she's challenged to a fight, you'd never see such a sparkle in her eye. However, when it comes to serving out Justice, she does it without hesitation. No matter the punishment, for anyone.
Weaknesses- She doesn't like fire or snakes. But her true weakness is her ability to serve out justice in the blink of an eye, no matter with whom or what. Also, her temper, if set off, could be used against her. As she has an awful habit of not thinking things through when she is angry, so she tends to rush into things when she is.
Skills- She's a master with her snake sword, and is a rather good fighter. She tends to sneak around alot, but if caught somehow manages to wriggle away. Also, she has the power of her tribe to be able to speak with animals.
History- She was raised in an The Winds Of Fate tribe of nomadic Elves, and as most nomadic Elves are. Aqquianted with moving around all the time. She doesn't like staying in one place for longer than a week, unless if it's winter. When she was a mere 100 years old, her tribe was attacked by a large group of fiery demons, and was subsequently the only one who survived. She was still so young when she lost her tribe, that all the odds seemed to be against her as she picked up her fathers snake sword up from the ashes of the fallen tribe. But when all hope to her seemed lost, a silver wolf stepped out of the woods, followed by two large black ones. It seemed to study her for a second, then jerked it's head in a motion suggesting that she should follow. With nowhere to go, she obliged, and followed the wolf into the woods.
The basic skills she knew at the time was to light a fire and of course, the nomadic power of her tribe, being able to communicate with wild animals. She started talking with the wolves, and as she grew to the age of 456, she had learned swift justice and brutality, also learning how to fend and hunt for herself. When she left, a mark appeared on both arms, and two sword appeared in her hands as she walked away. Her only family left then got attacked by about 8 demons. And she jumped into the fighting, killing more demons than all the wolves combined. Her swords disappeared as the demons did, and her foster mother, the immortal wolf Elvina, spoke to her words she never expected to hear from a wolf. "You are truly worthy to be called a member of this pack, Koe of The Whirling Winds. I am proud of you," After that, She basically tackled her with hugs and kisses, and then left. Moving from place to place and making her way in the world. She eventually became the snake sword master she is today by many many years of training, and has almos reached that level with her godly weapons.

Personal Weapons- A big and long sword when she fights against anything non-demonic (she can use it with one hand) Her Divine Gift (weapon) is her left hand, a claw (wich looks like her left glove in her suit of armor) (actually did she lost her left hand) When she uses it, black blades come out of her fingers and her whole claw/hand lights in a dark red.
Personality- She’s quite, calm, very intelligent and she has a big patience. She’s a good friend. She hates if someone deceives her. She gets really enraged then. She forgives faults very fast, but not her own.
Weaknesses- Sometimes she’s really credulous and gets in danger. Sometimes, if she fights against a army of demons, she gets insane and kills anything and anyone. It’s not for a long time, but it’s dangerous for her and everyone else. She doesn’t forgive her own big faults.
Skills- fighting, climbing, huting, when she sleeps she’s able to communicate with angels.
History- She lived near a little village at the edge of a big forest. There she was a guardian of the village and lived in a big tree next to it. One day the village was attacked by demons. She tried to kill them all, but some strong ones hurted her. She fighted against them until she was near death. One demon cutted of her left hand of. Suddenly her body was stunned and she collapsed. This was the first time she could hear angels. When she woke up all the demons ignored her. A golden monkey was sitting next to her, but it jumped away. Her left hand was back, but black blades came out of her fingers. The demons realized her, but she started to fight against them again, now with her claw. She killed all demons, but erveryone in the village was dead. She was and is very depressed that she couldn’t save them... She started to practice more and more.... Now she lives in the trees of the forest.

Personal Weapons - For non-demons, Takeo uses throwing knives. For especially hard kills, he adds a bit of fox-fire to the blades. This is only for his human form, however. For everyday hunting, he takes his natural form of a fox and hunts birds and small animals, employing his teeth and claws. He can use some spells, but is really a novice. His divine weapon is a bow and arrow. He really hates getting close, and prefers throwing knives and shooting arrows from afar.
Personality - He is misunderstood. The mark of the raven only reinforces people's feelings that he is malicious. In actuality, Takeo is non-confrontational, although he can be mischievous. He prefers not being around humans, elves, or other species. He sneaks around in fox-form most of the time. He usually remains calm, cool, and collected, but when something bothers, him, he can lose control of his anger. He has been hurt in the past and does not trust people easily.
Weaknesses - Takeo fails at close-quarter fighting. If someone finds out his entire name, he would be unable to use any spells or shape-shift.
Skills - Climbing, hunting, throwing knives, shape-shifting, going unnoticed, sneaking around, sprinting and running
History - Do to deforestation, his family lost his entire home. Due to misfortunes in a neighboring town, his parents were killed, being blamed for the misfortune. The rest of his friends and family banished him after noticing the mark of the raven on his arm, a gold patch in his red fur. He is no longer in contact with his sister, the only family he has left that hasn't betrayed him due to his connection with the gods. He constantly looks for her but can never find her. Now he spends his time hunting, killing the occasional demon when he finds one.

Divine "Parent- Plethantahs chosen for his swiftness ruthlessness and keen instinct.
Personal Weapon- A long and sharp scythe it is as clear as glass it is also sharp enough to kill a demon in seconds well when he is focusing enough and it's his fastest and most stealth like weapon. His Divine Gift (Weapon) Is his blue flame blessed by Plethantahs that he can conjure up in a snap. Although his blue flame is not strong enough to kill even a demon it is still a good way to distract a demon and get away fast. He has been learning how to be able to use it to it's full potential but he is not strong enough to use it properly yet.
Personality- Ritsu is remarkably kind, childish, loving, and very energetic when it comes to buying candy and food. He is full of energy and laughter but when he is angry/serious well... lets just say never take his candy or his food and you'll be fine. There is one thing that he will always do and that is to protect his loved ones. With his strong eyesight and keen instinct he will never fail to see danger usually unless he messes up somehow ^^. What makes him angry is when you talk about his past life.
Weaknesses- He is not very good at fighting when he is outnumbered well not at his skill yet. When he uses his blue flame to much he will get a painful headache and that effects his fighting. Also Ritsu's top fear is if his younger sister or someone he loves died because he couldn't save them.
Skills- Ritsu's scythe is sharp and fast enough to kill a demon without much effort but cannot take on multiple demons.
His stealth makes him nearly impossible to find along with his keen instinct he senses almost everything nearby him also with his strong eyesight and smell he can know whether someone is an enemy or just a animal but with all of his senses he messes up almost every time so he trains on all of his senses everyday unless he forgets what to do.
History- Ritsu lived in a small village with some humans kitsune and elves but When Ritsu was a small child his parents had a incurable disease and before they died they gave him a scythe to protect his family but he had no idea what he was holding since he was so young so he gave it to his older sister. So leaving only his younger sister himself his older sister and his older brother. They then had to live in the forest because they had very little money but then a kistune found them in the forest he was very kind and gave us a place to sleep and eat. When he saw the scythe with his older sister he decided to train Ritsu his brother and his sisters so that they can fight for themselves they were all happy with the kitsune but then a army of demons started to capture and attack the people in the town the kitsune quickly hid us in his basement. After a while there was not much noise so they went out to look what happened they then found the same kitsune dead along with some people in the town. The rest of the people either escaped or got captured by the demons and there might still be some demons here we have got to move his brother said so they fled to the forest again. But soon his older sister started to get sick and his older brother wanted to save her from dying so he looked for ways to heal his sister but she eventually died. So his brother started getting strange and more evil looking. Then one night Ritsu heard a scream so he went to find out what was that sound but to find his little sister screaming in the arms of his brother and he left taking his little sister so he got very confused angry and sad and he didn't know what to do next but then suddenly he saw a red-crested crane and thought he was imagining it but then the crane touched his head and he fell asleep. When he woke up he saw on both his hands a mark of a red crested like crane surrounded by blue flames afterwords he saw the red-crested crane again and told him who he is then he gave him the scythe that the parents gave him and then said that he has saved his sister from death. But has put her in Ritsu to guide and train him also to help find their younger sister so after he said all that he left.

Ren-chan, I'm a bit worried that your character is a Mary-sue. ^.^; First of all, your character's normal weapon seems more like something that would come from a God or Goddess - something that can pierce souls? I don't think any non-divine creature could create such a thing. It's also said that the scythe can destroy demons, while only blessed weapons gifted by the Gods themselves can do that. I would be fine if it was a normal scythe. :) Also, the fact that he's part demon, spirit, and angel doesn't seem right to me. In this RP, the demons are the enemy, and your character was born as a . . . Human? Elf? Based on his age, something immortal. All of those beings mashed into one would be disastrous, I think, the conflicting creatures tearing each other, and Ritsu's soul, apart. Anyway, I request that you change it to something more along the lines of an elf or kitsune, or something else that would be found in the world. The pentagram Ritsu accidentally trod on could have cursed him, giving his powers that negative side, and giving him an almost demon-like side to his personality, as well. Perhaps, in turn, Ritsu could be trying to search for Plethantahs, to relieve the curse? I dunno. Just spewing some ideas to help you out. I would be much obliged if you could do this for me! ^.^)))

Divine "Parent"- Rancara, chosen for her nearly flawless trickery and wisdom.
Personal Weapons- She keeps two pairs of daggers at her side all the time. She also has a pair of daggers blessed by Rancara that are sharper than normal daggers and regenerate if thrown or dropped. She only has two at any given time, though.
Personality- Ankoku is playful and sassy, yet to-the-point when angered or annoyed. If someone sees her steal something, she teases him or her and then runs away. However, she has to try to trick herself into thinking that it’s for the better.
Weaknesses- Sometimes she feels guilty stealing stuff, and she isn’t perfect at stealing things. She has been caught, and had to pay.
Skills- fighting with twin daggers, sneaking around, and cooking.
History- Ankoku was abandoned by her family at a young age, and she doesn’t even remember why. She was then forced to live alone in the capital city. Because she had no income, Ankoku learned to be a thief—stealing food, clothes, whatever she needed. As she became better at thievery, she noticed a pair of robins appear on the back of each hand. She also found another pair of intricately designed daggers at her hip, the hilts designed to look like robins with wings spread. However, when she tried to use these daggers, they did nothing. Ankoku abandoned these daggers in an alley, but soon found another pair that looked exactly the same on her hip again. No matter how much she tried to abandon these useless daggers, they always reappeared at her hip. She eventually gave up and kept them. Maybe they were a gift from Rancara after all.
When the demons came and attacked the capital, Ankoku found out that the daggers did more damage to demons than ordinary weapons. Now, whenever demons come to attack the city, she attacks with the robin-daggers.

Race- Immortal Shapeshifter
Divine "Parent"- Ghethora, chosen for his quick anger and his ferocity in protecting those he cares deeply about.
Personal Weapons- Usually, when fighting non-demon's, he shape-shifts into an preditory animal, but if forced to use weapons, he uses his own longsword. His divine gift is gifted to his right wrist, were he can make a single long blade come out of when surrounded or near a demon. This weapon can sometimes decapacitate three demons at once, but that is extremely rare, and is just put down to pure dumb luck.
Personality- He is very quick to anger, anything and everything could set him off. At first he seems rather sullen and rude. But once he warms up to you, he's very trustworthy and dependable, and fiercely protects anybody he loves. If he considers you friends, he's rather witty and nice. But he tends to stay away from people. He also knows how to hold a grudge, so if you hurt him, he won't forget. Also he tends to be rather stubborn sometimes.
Weaknesses- As mentioned before, he's very quick to anger, and that could be used against him. Also, he can only transform into something as big as a male lion, that's the limit to his shapeshifting abilities, and could also be used against him when he's fighting something huge. Also, when you earn his trust, he tends to believe everything you say, and that makes him easily supectable to treachery.
Skills- He's very skilled with both his sword and divine weapon, and also can transform into any animal up to something as big as a Male Lion. He's also good at sneaking around. But'll fess up if he gets caught.
History- He moved away from his family, who died after he left, at the age of 567. He went out into the real world and usually studied animals, trying to find all the forms that he could transform into up to his power limit. When he ran across a group of demon's, he was utterly defenseless, and as he tried to fight with several of his forms, he ended up on the brink of death. When his vision started to fade, he saw a great boar attack the demon's, and he figured out later that it was his divine parent Ghethora. When he woke up, there was a mark on his right wrist, and a blade protruding from it. His first reaction was the thought wondering why it didn't hurt, and once he flexed his wrist, the blade disappeared. He messed around with it for awhile, until he eventually became rather good at fighting with it. He came across his sword when he met with a group of travelers, they got him angry by teasing him about his race and divine gift. And he brutally punished them, knocking them all out. He stole his sword, and also stole food and money. He was ashamed of it to a point, but only because he let his anger get the better of it. Other than that he did what was necessary.

Elza balanced on a branch high in a tree, overlooking the village that crouched right next to her forest. She had been protecting this place for years, whether the locals knew it or not. She rarely ever left the safety of the trees, and when she did, it was always by the cover of night. She could feel a stirring on the wind, however. Something big was happening, a shift in the war. Elza had known there were others like her - the angels had mentioned it, but never gone into detail. She knew they would come together soon, and destroy the demons once and for all. With a snort, the elf descended from the tree and took a shortcut back to her home behind a waterfall, a crescent pool at the foot of the crashing water. It was here that the angels had taken her the night her village was destroyed, and it was here that she had stayed ever since. The elf began rummaging among her things, preparing for a journey that may or may not happen.

Name- Aaron Silver
Age- 18
Species- Lycanthrope (werewolf)
Divine "Parent"- Ronos, chosen for his tendency to talk things out rather than fight.
Personal Weapons- When in human form, Aaron has a rapier blessed by Ronos, his divine father. It is thin and light, used more for thrusting attacks, rather than hacking. However, he fights in his wolf form the most, unless, of course, he is being attacked by demons. His lupine body is stronger, faster, and much larger than his small, frail human one. He prefers it, actually, besides the Full Moon drawback.
Personality- Aaron has always been a quiet, almost timid child. He was easily the butt of jokes, and was pushed around in school. However, he never got angry with anyone, instead sealing himself off from the world. Eventually, the bullying died down, until he was bitten, after which he was never seen again.
Weaknesses- Silver, of course, and every Full Moon Aaron’s beastly instincts come alive, taking him over for a full eight hours, where he turns into a half-human, half-wolf hybrid. A lycanthrope. He loses all reasoning in this state, and will attack anything that moves, including allies, unless he is restrained with silver. Besides the typical weaknesses of a werewolf, Aaron has always been small. He looks to be around the age of fifteen, instead of eighteen, giving him a disadvantage against larger and stronger foes. He relies on his speed and cunning to win many of his battles, letting his opponents tire themselves out enough to where he can strike a finishing blow.
Skills- Aaron is good at negotiating, a certain tone in his voice seeming to influence the person he’s talking to into at least paying him a bit of mind. He also has superior senses, and is a natural hunter. Though he doesn’t like taking the lives of the animals he hunts, he recognizes it as necessary.
History- Aaron went through a life of bullying, not letting any of it get to him by holing up inside a shell. He was bitten at age sixteen, while taking a walk through the forest (the very one that Elza protects, but along its far border, where the trees are pine instead of oak and redwood.) He was ambushed just inside the tree line, and left to Turn. His attacker had already eaten its fill, as it was the night of a Full Moon, and simply turned him into a lycanthrope. He was forced to Turn, as on any other night it would have been a gradual change, and rampaged through his town. He slaughtered his own family, and woke up in a splintered house and a pool of blood, surrounded by the remains of his family. He managed to escape just seconds before the rest of the villagers, toting silver weapons, showed up at his door. It is thought that he was killed along with his family. To this day, his actions haunt him, and every Full Moon, he chains himself up in a cave, to avoid from repeating it.

Other- Aaron’s mark is a golden wolf, burned into the right side of his chest. In wolf form, it translates to his right shoulder.

Koe watched from a tree as an lynx ripped apart his prey, feasting on it with a greedy hunger that she could relate to. She was tempted to steal the lynx's food, but as a fellow predator, she really didn't feel like killing the poor starving thing. She did manage to communicate with it though. "Excuse me," She called, the lynx's head shot up, and its eye's narrowed.
"You're an elf, how are you talking to me?" It growled, crouching over it's food protectively.
"I'm a nomad from the The Winds of Fate tribe, the last one, I was just wondering why you looked so starved," She replied simply, jumping down fromthe tree.
It blinked, "Food has been scarce because of the demon's,"
"Oh, I understand," Koe's voice was soft and understanding, "Its been rather scarce for me as well,"
"Well if there's anything left of this rabbit, you can cook it," The lynx offered. Koe smiled. Just what she had planned.
"Thank you!" She replied graciously, bowing and then watching as it ate. As soon as it left, leaving her almost half of the large hare, she started a fire, and began to cook it.

Faron slowly glided through the forest, in one of his favourite forms, a spotted leopard. He skidded to a stop and opened his mouth slightly, smelling the scent of a rabbit nearby. His stomach rumbled lightly, and he sighed. Food had also been rathe scarce for Faron, and it showed in his transformations. He slowly stalked the rabbit, his tail off the ground so as not to disturb it. As soon as it came unwittingly into pouncing distance, he attacked, and killed the rabbit swiftly. Faron quickly spit it out, and turned back into his human form. Starting a small fire and cooking it. He hated, absolutely hated, the taste of raw animal, even as an animal himself. Faron leaned back on a tree log and watched as it cooked, turning it every once in awhile. As soon as it was done, both he and Koe began to eat.

Aaron stalked among the forest, taking in every scent and sound. A twig cracked nearby, but his nose told him it was just a broken branch beginning to fall. He heard the sound of running, crashing water, but his eyes relayed to him that it was simply a waterfall. His instincts warned him to keep away from it. It seemed too . . . clean. Holy. Suddenly, his nose picked up a new scent. Flames. Instantly, he was overcome with curiosity, and followed the sharp burning smell through the trees until he found a girl ripping into part of a cooked hare. She was so beautiful, she must have been an elf. An old one. Too late, he noticed sword by her side, and realized she must be a hunter. And wolf pelts were very valuable these days, as the creatures were disappearing, hunted for their fur. A stick cracked under his large paws, and he froze, hoping that the elf wouldn't attack.

Takeo sprinted through the forest in fox form, sure of the smell of demons protruding the air. After approaching some upheaved roots, he stopped, sniffed the air, and began to run West. He was sure that they were west. He moved swiftly, diving behind trees to avoid any unwanted encounter, stalking his prey. He came upon the outskirts of a small town. Two demons were harassing a mere human peddler, ripping through her bags and tearing at her clothes. Takeo crouched behind a tree, and transformed into a human. He was wearing a leather vest and ripped jeans, with a belt holding several knives and his bow and arrow.

He stepped out behind the tree, still hidden from view. He grabbed his bow, gently running his fingers across the string. This was a weapon that you didn't get second chances with, he thought to himself. He reached for an arrow, lining it up carefully against the string. He took a deep breath and aimed at the larger of the two demons. One down, right in the head. The demon dropped to the ground. The other demon, shocked at his companions death, looked towards the forest, spotting Takeo. The demon began to run on all fours, claws outstretched, towards Takeo.

Takeo inhaled deeply, and exhaled a ring of foxfire around the demon. The blue embers circled the demon, dancing upon its foot-claws. He reached for another arrow and took the demon down.

The peddler, happy at the victory, threw a packet of cookies in Takeo's direction. He transformed back into a fox, grabbed the bag, and ran off back into the woods.

There has to be others like me... Takeo thought to himself. He could have sworn he smelled an elf nearby. He ran off, following that direction.

Koe's head shot up, and she looked around. Taking notice of every shape through the trees. She eventually managed to find the shape of a wolf, and she sighed in relief. "Hey, don't go wolf!" She exclaimed smiling warmly. "I'm technically one of you ya know! Would you like to keep me company?" She asked cheerfully, gesturing to a spot next to her. "I sincerely promise not to hurt you,"

Faron stood and cleaned up his camp area, starting to walk in human form away from the site. Eventually, he found himself at a waterfall, which seemed very peaceful and quiet. He gently waded through until he came to the waterfall itself, going through the think curtain of water in curiosity to see what was behind it. "Hello!?" He called cautiously, squinting so he could see. "Anybody in here?"

Takeo began to pick up another scent, that of a wolf. He hissed at the thought of a beast in the woods, in his territory. Picking up the packet of cookies, he scurried up a tree, and began leaping branch to branch. He was getting closer to the elf and the wolf scent. He saw a clearing, where the smell of a decaying hare caught his attention. He climbed higher into the tree, awaiting movement from below. He made sure to crawl on a large, bushy branch so he could not be spotted from the ground.
