Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
She squealed as she took the goggles and held them up to her face to look through them, first looking to the ground, then the sky, then to Six. She tried to take a step and ended up almost tripping over, finding her balance again just in time. She gave the goggles back carefully, "They're reeeeaaaaallly cool, but they make me dizzy if I move my head too fast. They're weird, how do they do that?"
She waited until he had the goggles on his head before tugging at his sleeve again, "I wanna show you where I live! I can get my brush and brush your hair lots too! It'll be sooooooo much fun!

Habit smiled, "It's just the way the glass is used, it magnifies what you see," He paused, "Makes it bigger to you, but not in real life," He corrected, putting it in simpler terms for her. Habit fitted the goggles back onto his head, chuckling. "Well I do have time to kill," H answered, 'Literally and figurativley,' he adde to himself, laughing to himself. "So why not?" He stood up, his eyes darting around. Mimi was a nice distraction, but he was still hungry, The little snack from earlier starting to wear off
He looked down ar Mimi, smiling. "Where to, kid?"

Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"This waaaaay!" She sang as she pulled her new friend along by his sleeve, looking back here and then to make sure that he wasn't bothered by her pulling him, "Have you ever been to a hot spring? There's on in town but I haven't ever gone to it 'cause you have to stay at the tavern, but I heard it's really nice. Are hot spring really hot? Sometimes bathwater is really hot but sometimes it's really cold. Isn't' that weird? It should just stay the same temperature all the time!" She chattered as they walked in a seemingly random direction.
"Sometimes when I'm playing by myself I like to prete-" Her latest line of though was interrupted by a new speaker.
"I'm so sorry sir!" It was Lynna, one of the younger caretakers for the orphanage, having most likely having been told by the boys that she had wandered off she seemed a bit flustered that she had actually managed to bring someone with back with her this time. "This girl here sometimes does things without thinking, I hope she hasn't been too much trouble for you."
"I haven't been any trouble at all Lynna! I made a friend even!" Mimi pouted.

Habit smiled and nodded in response to Mimi's chattering, letting her pull him along. Then the caretaker spoke, and he just kept smiling, shaking his head, now having to act, because ew normal person! He looked down at Mimi, "No, she hasn't been any trouble at all, " He answered charmingly. "Actually she's been quite pleasent company,"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Ah, that's good." The caretaker said pleasantly as Mimi cheered, "I'll just take her off your hands and let you get back to your day."
Mimi pouted tugging lightly on Six's arm, "No! I'm going to brush his hair because it's really nice!"
"Miriam..." The caretaker sighed before looking up and addressing Habit, "I'm sorry sir. She's at that age you see..." She then reached down and grabbed Mimi's free hand, "Come along Miriam, let's go put you down for a nap."
Mimi shook her head, holding tighter to Six, "No! I don't want to!"

Habit mentally scowled, his eyes twitching slightly. "No, it's fine. She can brush my hair if she likes," He argued, slightly annoyed; but he just kept smiling. 'Just let the kid do what the f**k she want's,' He thought, not really seeing any logic in keeping Mimi from something as harmless as brushing anothers hair. He stared at Lynna, almost hungrily, on the inside of course, he couldn't break his cover no. But... Habit was so hungry. He almost drooled, and whom better to eat than the woman whose p**sing me off?

Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Lynna gave the man a strange look. If he was really alright with his hair being brushed by that child it wasn't her place to stop them, "Very well then." she said, releasing Mimi's arm, allowing the young girl to pull it back to her chest.
Mimi looked up to Six with a smile, "Now I can brush your hair all I want!" she announced. She was excited again, the pout she had worn while talking to the caretaker seemingly forgotten. The caretaker moved off to the side, watching them go as Mimi continued to lead Six to the building which she happily identified as, "The orphanage, it doesn't have a real name though but lots of other kids without moms and dads live here too."
The interior was simple, but Mimi kind of liked it that way. The entrance she used led immediately into the dining area, where everyone gathered for meals. There were a few kids sitting about at one of the tables, watching her and Six as they passed by and Mimi gave a little wave smiling at the girl who gave one in return Turning down a hall she stopped in front of one of the doors and peeked inside, looking to see if any of the rooms other inhabitants were there, before opening it all the way. It was a small room, with two bunk beds on each side. Mimi climbed up tot he top bunk on the left and scrambled back down clutching a wooden comb. It was simple, a half circle in shape with irregularly spaced teeth, some of which were missing.
"This is my comb, it's pretty nice isn't it?"

Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit nodded almost absent-mindedly, surveying the area. 'It's not much huh?' he thought before looking down at Mimi, grinning. "It's absolutley stupendous," He answered, looking at Mimi, dazed; or confused at least. "So do I uh.... Sit down somewhere or something?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head rather awkwardly.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Stupendous is a cool word!" she exclaimed before bouncing onto the bed underneath hers, "Tana's wont playing I think so she won't be back for awhile so we can sit on her bed." She bounced a few times, though there wasn't any spring to the bed before pointing to a spot on the edge, "You can sit there so I can brush your hair!"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit nodded, moving over to the spot Mimi gestured to; plopping down and pulling off his goggles so it would be easier to brush through his generally untangled hair. There might've been a couple knots in it, but only from his recent snack's escapades. He looked over at Mimi, smiling. "Ok!"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Mimi hummed to herself as she began to tackle Six's hair. It was kind of messy, so she tried to be careful knowing that whenever the comb got stuck in her own hair it hurt a little. She quickly decided that boy's hair was easy to comb though, as it only got semi-stuck every once in awhile. "Where do you live Six?" She asked suddenly as she continued to comb.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit blinked, then refrained from giving an cryptic and confusing answer. "Well.... I don't really live anywhere I guess," He answered, shrugging. "I lived up in the mountains for 200 years or so, then I ate somebody who... Pi-" He stopped, trying to refrain from cursing around Mimi. "Who made me mad, nasty demon the guy was," Habit crinkled his nose, "But demon blood tastes gross, don't try to eat demons most of them are too stupid to have fun with,"
((Yeah he won't curse around her but if it comes to Eating people everything is totally open))

Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Are mountains cool?" Mimi wondered aloud with a tilt of her head, then continued with another question, "Why are most demons stupid?"
Then, as if the question had just occurred to her she suddenly asked, "Do you have a mom and dad?"

Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit nodded, "Mountains are awesome!! So tall and pointy. The best part is the cold see, I mean climbing them is pretty awesome, but I like the cold," He answered, grinning. Then his grin dropped suddenly when she asked about the demons, he sighed. "Because you have the demons who don't know how to follow their orders, because they're stupider than a squirrel with ADHD!" He exclaimed, laughin suddenly.
"Do you have a mom and dad?" Habit stopped laughing. Frowning profusely.
"I did... Well I do, I'm sure my parent's in the High aren't dead yet, they're pretty damn clever... But uh.... God I haven't talked to them in about, 300 years," He muttered, shrugging. "Oh well!"

Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
She made a rather confused expression upon the use of the word ADHD, but didn't ask. It sounded like a hard word after all.
"Do your mom and dad miss talking to you? Did you have a big fight with them and that's why you don't talk to them?"
"Do your mom and dad miss talking to you? Did you have a big fight with them and that's why you don't talk to them?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit shrugged, "They were rather ruthless people, all memeber of the High are honestly..." He trailed, a dark smile spreading over his face, 'Especially me,' He added in his head, shaking the creepy grin to avoid scaring Mimi. "So I highly doubt they miss talking to me," Habit paused, grinning. "And... I guess you could call it a fight... Of sorts, more like I-" He stopped, once again not wanting to scare Mimi. 'Snacked on somebody I wasn't supposed to,' He finished, licking his lips slightly. And for a demon he tasted good too.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Tilting her head in the different direction Mimi asked another question, "Was it a yelling kind of fight? I don't like those, they're really loud and hurt my ears." She stopped brushing is hair for the time being and walked to take a seat on the edge of the bed on Habit's right side. "There's lots of fights here sometimes. I don't like mad fighting though. I like play fighting, since it's quieter."
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit watched as Mimi sat down next to him, smiling. "Yes, well my favorite kind of fighting isn't either of those, I like the quite ones too. It's almost silent, sneaking up behind somebody, the only soud you hear is the loud POP of their neck snapping, or the rush of air as they're stabbed in the back or the side... I like that fighting," Habit nodded. "It's the best kind I think! The only person hurt is the other person,"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Mimi fidgeted a bit as she listened to her new friend, "But they only get hurt if they're bad guys right? 'Cause Lynna and Carrow say it's bad to hurt good people." Then she thought a bit to herself, "How do you see if someone's nice or bad?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit shook his head quickly, "Look, Lynna and Carrow obviously don't know what they're talking about. They're stupid. There's no such thing as good or bad people. There's just people. Now some people might do terrible things, but that doesn't mean they're bad. And some people will do great things, but it doesn't mean that they're good. Everybody has flaws, everybody makes mistakes, so no. I don't only hurt bad people, nor do I hurt good people. Just people," Habit explained, nodding more to himself than to Mimi.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Oh, I guess..." Mimi responded in an uncertain tone, "Do you have any friends Six?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit smiled softly, looking over at Mimi. "No not really, I have people who think I'm friends with them. Think I'm even more, but they're just pawns for me to play with..." He trailed off, looking up. "Yeah,"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Mimi gave Six a frown, "But isn't that lonely? I think it would be lonely to not have any friends." Then she nodded to herself, "But I'm your friend right? 'Cause your nice to me and let me brush your hair and I want to be your friend!" She exclaimed happily, a bright smile growing on her face.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit nodded and smiled, "Yes Mimi, you are my friend," He answered, 'A friend, huh? This ought to be interesting,' He thought, grinning. He actually didn't have the urge to kill, or maim, or eat Mimi. Habit smiled again. "Yep, yep, Mimi you are my friend,"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Yay!" Mimi cheered, "That means your my friend too!"
Then a puzzled look crossed over her face as she began to consider the possibilities of what she could do with her new friend and came up with nothing. She tilted her head sideways as she stared at her friend for a moment, "What do friends do together? You're too old to play tag with, and I dunno what games you like."
