Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit blinked, "Ummmm...." He trailed off, "Well I didn't really think that far....." He brightened, then shook his head. Deep in thought, "Uh......" He shook his head again, "Oh, my, I don't.... Know," He answered tilting his head. "I doubt anything I find fun you would as well," Habit muttered.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Clapping her hands excitedly, Mimi replied, "Since you let me do something I like with you, I should do something you like with you!" She sprung up from her seat, full of energy, and spun towards her friend, "C'mon Six! You gotta tell me!"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit grinned, "Um.... Well... Um..." He turned slightly red, embarassed, "My thing would be rather scary to you I think," He muttered. Rubbing the back of his head nervously, "I don't want to scare my one and only friend away either," 'Besides I don't even have anybody to eat, besides one of those annoying caretakers'
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Throwing her hands up in the air in mock anger Mimi argued, "But I'm really brave! I even ate a bug one time on a dare. It was really gross but I did it!" She waved her arms about as if doing so emphasized her bravery.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit smirked slightly, his true creepiness radiating off of him. "Oh? Oh really? So eating a bug compares to eating a person? Mauling them, tearing thm apart, delicious dark red blood. Ooh the blood. Its all over. Staining your hands and your mouth and your face. Sometimes your clothes, but not if your careful. Oh and the joy! It fills your head with laughter, your step with a little more bounce. It tastes so good, you wouldn't believe it, how happy taking anothers life is. Of course for somebody like me, a demon on High, it'd be enjoyable. Mmm," He almost drooled. Then his eyes widened as he realized he'd said that outloud. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean.... Um... Did I scare you?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Taking a step back as he spoke, Mimi nodded her head. Yes, he had scared her quite a lot, but he had apologized sooo, "It's okay though! I told you I'm brave so-!" Even as she spoke she shook a bit, quite obviously still scared.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"I-I'm sorry," Habit repeated, cursing his hunger and his cravings. "I promise I won't hurt you, you're my friend, remembr?" He smiled softly, warmly and comfortingly. "I'm just really hungry that's all," He muttered, "It's starting to get into my brain and make me say stuff..." He trailed off, noticing how frightened she looked. "I'm sorry,"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Can you eat normal food?" She asked with an expression and tone ones of wide-eyed worry as she rubbed her thumbs across the teeth of her comb, apparently one of the ways she expressed nervousness.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit rubbed the back of his head. Shrugging and turning slightly red, "I uh.... I dunno," He answered truthfully, blinking and pushing away more hungry thoughts before they resurfaced and scared Mimi again. "I haven't tried normal food in... Well ever," He mummered, sighing. 'And I fear I have become just a gourmet who can't do anything but eat people,' He added in his head.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Sometimes there's leftovers from breakfast in the kitchen but it might be all gone by now. I could go borrow some food from one of the stands in town when nobodies looking though! I bet you would like apples! But we can't have tomatoes because they make me sick okay?" She said in a serious tone, that was almost completely free of the fear she had shown just moments before.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit shook his head, "No you don't have to steal anything for me, Mimi," He answered, "I have plenty of money to buy it myself," He stood up. "No tomatoes huh? I'll keep that in mind," He grinned, a little skeptical on the inside of 'normal food' it'd probably wouldn't taste anything like a delicious burning heart or a soft, silky, liver.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Woah! You have money? That's soooooo cool Six!" She cheered happily, "Even the older kids here only ever have a little bit of money and they all save it up so that can go to other places. What's the world like anyhow Six? Is it really big? That's what everyone says but is it really?" She suddenly began to bounce up and down in excitement. "Why's you name Six anyhow? Do you have lots of brothers and sisters or something?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit nodded, "It's huugggeeee," He answered, gesturing. "If anybody ever tells you that it's a small world they're being stupid and lying," He muttered, grinning. "Its a bige never ending circle, the world is," He paused when she asked about his name. Shrugging. "My birth parent's were complete idiots, and I was the sixth child of the litter. Of course then the High came to scoop me up and take me away, but I was already named, so they just rolled with it til I chose my own name. Which is HABIT," He stressed the word Habit abit, trying to get the point that that's what he wished to be called b
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"So if I kept walking forever and ever I'd end up where I started again? That weird!" She exclaimed with a rather cheerful smile, "Are your brothers and sisters stupid too then? And what's that High thing again?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Well maybe not forever and ever, but you would have to walk across oceans and deserts, it'd take a long time," Habit mused, shrugging. "And yes, my brothers and sisters are complete idiots," He almost sounded, annoyed, like he normally did when talking about dumb, low class, demons. "The High is a group of bright uh...well... Demons... Who take in whomever seems promising to their class in at birth. Especially ones who look like mortal's, etc. They're like a ruling class over other demons," Habit explained, sighing. "Sometimes they are soo stupid though, it's disgraceful to the name of The High,"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Oh, that's bad. That's why you went away from there?" She asked, interested. Suddenly her stomach growled and she giggled, "I'm hungry too now!"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit blinked, then nodded. "Well let's go and try to buy uh.... Normal food," He answered, sticking his tounge out slightly as the words left his mouth. 'If the sh*t is no good, I'll have to go find a meal, with or without Mimi. I have to be in traveling shape to continue my game,' He thought, sighing slightly and starting to walk out, he look back at Mimi. "Lead the way!"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Mimi blinked up at Habit, and the with a surprisingly sly looking grin for a six year old she raised both of her hand towards him and demanded something of him first, "Carry me."
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit blinked, "Uh... Okay?" He responded, tentatively picking Mimi up and putting her on his shoulders; making sure to hang tight to her, just in case. "But you better tell me which way to go, because I have no idea where to go OK?" He said, walking out of the room and through the halls of the orphanage.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Mimi kicked her feet gently as they moved outside, practically sticking her arm into her ride's face as they reached the street, pointing toward the right, "We gotta go that way now."
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit, grinning, nodded and walked in the direction she pointed to. Humming, "So, Mimi, it's my turn to ask questions, okay?" He didn't wait for an answer before launching into his question, "So, how old are you? How long have you been in the orphanage?" He didn't rapid fire like she did, speaking slowly and concise.
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"I'm six years old!" She answered cheerfully before gasping, "And your name's Six! I'm six and you're Six!" She started into a small fit of giggle before continuing onto answering his next question. "And um... I've always been there. Since I was super little!" She began to nod her head a bit as she spoke before suddenly pointing her arm off to the left, "Now this way!"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit nodded thoughtfully, chucking softly and heading in the direction Mimi had pointed. "Do you like it there?" He asked softly, looking up at her before continuing to walk. "You mentioned some of the kids being scared of you right? Do they tease you as well?"
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
"Yeah, it's pretty nice. Sometimes I can play with the others if there isn't enough kids around though, and that's fun. Lots of the little kids think my eyes are scary though, and the boys think my eyes look weird and the girl's say I have grandma hair sometimes and that's kinda mean," She explained a bit somberly, "It's okay though, since they aren't always mean like that."
Re: The Divine Curse p. 2 (Open / Started)
Habit blinked, "Wow, I forgot how mean kids are," He muttered. Then he blinked, looking up at her. "I think you're a spitting image of a princess I once met actually," He said cheerfully. Not mentioning he ate her later, Mimi didn't need to know that. "So are your caretakers nice? Lynna seemed rather..... Rude," He questioned, his stomach growling.
